This material can describe your security architecture. We treat it as your confidential information. We access it only to operate, secure, support, and troubleshoot the Services, or where you direct us to. We do not use it to market to third parties, and we do not sell it.

We may receive limited information about you from business contact data providers, referral partners, event organizers you registered with, and advertising or social platforms where you engaged with our content. We combine this only with the records described above and use it for the purposes stated in Section 4.

● Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms and Conditions
We rely on the following grounds for processing: performance of a contract with you, your consent where consent is required, our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Services, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. SMS and Text Messaging Program
5.1 Program Description
Oberum Technologies LLC operates an SMS program that sends text messages to individuals who have opted in. Depending on the consent you gave, messages may include appointment and demo reminders, scheduling confirmations, onboarding and account notifications, customer service replies, product and service updates, and promotional messages about Oberum Network Builder.
5.2 How Consent Is Collected
We collect SMS consent through an unchecked opt-in checkbox on our web forms that you must affirmatively select, through a written or verbal request you make to us directly, or by your reply to a message we send at your request. Consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of purchasing any product or service. Opt-in to SMS is separate from any other agreement or checkbox on the same form.
5.3 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and typically does not exceed 6 messages per month.
5.4 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from us and from you to us. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your text plan or data plan.
5.5 Opting Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text “STOP” to (631) 891-5760. After you send “STOP,” we will send one confirmation message to acknowledge that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages to you.
5.6 Getting Help
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us directly at [email protected] or (631) 891-5760.
5.7 Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5.8 SMS Data Sharing Restrictions
This section governs all mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records we hold, and it overrides anything in Section 6 that could otherwise be read to permit sharing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Specifically:
● We do not sell, rent, trade, or license mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to anyone.
● We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
● Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for the aggregators and providers of the Text Message services that are necessary to deliver the messages you asked to receive.
● Sharing with subcontractors that provide support services to us, such as customer service, is permitted only so those subcontractors can perform services on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and use restrictions.
5.9 Consent Records
We retain the record of your opt-in, including the consent language shown, the date and time, and the source of the consent, for as long as you remain subscribed and for at least four years after you opt out, so that we can demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging regulations.
5.10 Content Standards
Our text messages will not contain phishing or social engineering attempts to obtain your private information, illegal content, or SHAFT content, meaning content relating to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, or tobacco that does not comply with applicable federal and state law.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only in the limited circumstances below.
6.1 Service Providers and Subcontractors
We use vendors to operate our business. They may access personal information only to perform services for us, under written obligations of confidentiality and restricted use, and they may not use it for their own purposes. These vendors fall into the following categories:
● Website and application hosting, and cloud infrastructure
● Customer relationship management and marketing automation, including HighLevel, which we use as our CRM and communications platform
● SMS aggregators and messaging providers that transmit text messages you asked to receive
● Email delivery providers
● Payment processing
● Product analytics, website analytics, and error monitoring
● Scheduling and calendaring tools
● Customer support and helpdesk tooling
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are excluded from this section except as expressly permitted by Section 5.8.
6.2 Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with a law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; to investigate suspected fraud, security incidents, or abuse; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Oberum, our customers, or the public.
6.3 Business Transfers
If Oberum is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any acquirer will remain bound by the commitments in Section 5.8 with respect to mobile and SMS opt-in data.
6.4 With Your Direction
We share information with third parties when you instruct us to, such as when you connect a cloud provider account or an integration to Oberum Network Builder.
6.5 Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We may publish or share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by applicable law.

● Passwords stored using salted one-way hashing; we never store passwords in plain text
● Payment card data handled entirely by PCI DSS compliant payment processors and never stored on our servers
● Logging and monitoring of access to production systems, with retained audit trails

● Periodic review of access rights, credential rotation, and prompt revocation of access on personnel changes
● Vulnerability patching and dependency monitoring on our application and infrastructure
● Backups of production data, with restoration procedures tested periodically
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that compromises your personal information and creates a risk to you, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law, and in any event without undue delay.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
● Account and customer records: for the life of the account and for up to seven years after closure for tax, accounting, and legal defense purposes
● Marketing contact records: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and then only as needed to honor your suppression request
● SMS opt-in and opt-out records: as described in Section 5.9
● Support and communication records: up to three years after the matter is closed
● Website analytics and log data: generally up to 26 months
● Customer infrastructure and configuration data: for the term of your subscription and for 30 days after termination, after which it is deleted, unless you request earlier deletion
Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained indefinitely. We cannot control the retention practices of third parties; if you want a third party to delete data, contact that party directly.
